Dude, if you ever get the chance, go to a car meet at this park. Mile long runway + low police/civilian activity = car guys wet dream. At the end of that meet, we lined up 7 wide and booked it down the runway. I got up to a good 95 not even halfway before slowing down. I came in like 5th or 6th out of the unofficial run. That's what happens when you run un-modified. *yawns*

One regret... I wish had rolled the window up on the car, because all you hear is wind roar. You can't hear how sweet that 2-Liter sounds when its having the stuffing wound out of it.

Anyways, the annoying camera guy is Rudy and the Red Saturn guy is Victor (Skylark95 on here) and the annoying girl voice at the beginning of the first video is Kiera driving my old Cavalier from hell I hate so much.

For a point of reference, this is a video of some bikers hauling ass over the road in broad daylight from the Route 9 side (return trip of my vid)... gives you an idea of how nasty that road is during the day.

You should have definitely rolled up the window. The sound is horrible.

Also, that's nothing, it's even worse in broad daylight. Believe me, I've ridden over it a few hundred times with Sam. The road sucks if you get car sick, with Sam over that road or the North Hudson road in Moriah, NY, you take your life in your own hands. J/K

But seriously, broad daylight would have been better, that's when what's his name should have taken the video. Should have waited till like 7am on a Sunday morning when nobody is around and then done it.

Unless you can get a hold of a chase car that can keep up with you.

we're going to do that run again, only Rudy is going to be in Vic's Saturn chasing... what pisses me off is the video DOES NOT do the whole thing justice.

I know it's at night and all, but even when I'm flat out, I drive flat out within the lines. When my friends do that it pisses me off.

With that said, there should be a new video from me up in 10 day's time from my new car, once I get my next paycheck and go to the DMV the following Monday. Hmm... what could it be??

it's not like we were tearing down the road blind. We had Victor at the US 9 end, Kiera at the Moriah end. There are no roads on this road, no houses, no driveways, no camps... nothing but trees. Everyone had cells and service. It was as controlled an environment as we can have this side of a racetrack.
the only thing we had to worry about was deer.
