	Have you noticed that, over the last 5 or so years (maybe more) store staff do not count back your change when you buy shit? They simply hand you a handful of coins and the onus is on you to count it to verify the amount.

	Maybe they rely on the machine to do all the work and dont know how to count the change back? They also put the change on top of the bills in your hand...I HATE THAT!

	dude, i LOVE the machines that spit out the coins for you...because nine times outta ten, there is already a bunch of change in there from some old fart who didn't know to pick it up. yay for me!

Personally, I've never had TIME to count out every single penny to some fogie who has nothing better to do with his time. I do, however, count back the bills --- not for the customer's nagging and whatnot, but so I can double-check that my drawer will be correct at the end of the night.
