I'm not talking the insect/arthropod type. I'm talking about the family type.

A little backstory would help I guess...

About a year and a half ago, I bought the laptop I have, well, it's a "desktop replacement" that's high powered compared to what I used to have and I gave my old desktop away after cleaning out the hard drive. I didn't have recovery disks or anything like that with it. I paid 350 bucks for the box because I had a decent monitor at the time and my old box blew up. Anyway, I gave the box to my cousin who has like no money and lives with my grandmother two doors down.

Well, it had antivirus and everything else. Now he sends his daughter over looking for recovery disks for it, which I don't have or an OEM copy of XP, which, again, I don't have. All I have is my copy of Vista that ASUS sent me to install on my laptop and the key's been used.

Is it just me, or would other people be angry that someone didn't take care of something that was given as a gift out of charity?

I gave it to him because his daughter didn't have a pc. It's not my fault that he took it, that he didn't take care of it and use the stuff on it to keep himself from getting over 25 viruses from the porn he continually seems to download and the porn sites he doesn't seem to remember visiting that hold viruses in the HTML code.

I gave him the computer for his daughter to use, instead, he took it away from her because it was faster than the one he had, it also had a larger hard drive and more ram. So, he sold his old one, which was another one of my hand me downs and used it to pay for porn site subscriptions. He just won't let his daughter have one, if we give her one for her use, he takes it and uses it for himself. The worst part...I got this laptop and he was asking when I might be upgrading after looking at it. Well, this time, I'll give it to Samurai when I do upgrade, or take a sledgehammer to it first.

I am so fucking sick of freeloaders who won't work, which my cousin won't, instead he plays the SSI system, pretending he can't walk, can't be around people and can't work because of his Social Anxiety Disorder. So, he gets in a wheelchair when he has to go prove he's "sick".

What bothers me even more, he's mad at me because I don't have the fucking disks so he can fix it and get his porn fix.

On top of this, he gave his daughter's old pc that was given to her by my sister for Christmas to my aunt, who uses it to play fucking solitaire and won't buy one for herself or give it back to my cousin's daughter. I gave my sister part of the money to pay for it because I didn't know what to get her that year for Christmas. I told him he could do something with the old one that we bought her as long as he gave his daughter the one I gave him. Which he didn't. Fucking asshole.

This just pisses me off to no end.

It's theirs, you gave it to them for them to do what they want, so if they abuse it, you can't really be angry at them for it. But you can for them then wanting you to fix it, repair it, blah blah blah.

Maybe give your niece a computer but tell her to leave it at her house?

Well, I've bought her stuff that I make her leave it here. Like her Ipod and other things that we've gotten for her to have because we don't trust her dad not to take them from her.

It just irritates me to no end that the kid can't have something in her room that she enjoys because her father just hauls off and takes it for himself.
