MV Vehicle Code Question

Although it varies from state-to-state, the rules are generally the same...

In a few months, I'll be purchasing a M35A2 2.5-ton vehicle with troop seats. What I can't find anywhere in the CA DMV rules, is if that vehicle is requeired to have seatbelts. What's even more odd, is that I can't find any rules that state what the cutoff date is for mandatory seatbelts, or if this rule even exists in the CA DMV.

I can guarantee that if I give a few of my friends a ride in the back troop-seats area (open or closed canvas cover), that some cop will pull us over and pass a ticket onto us. I'll then have to appear in court for this, and try to argue against the judge and the CA DMV on a rule that doesn't exist.

If anyone can help me, that would be awesome! Thanks!

Cool Deuce and a half........need pics when you get it! You had better mount the gun ring and throw a fake 50 up there!

I dunno if you would get in trouble for that or not. Only Deuces Ive seen on the road were in the ARMY but there is one guy around here with one.

I would assume it would be the same rules as someone riding in the back of a pickup. Here you can ride in back if you are over 16 and sitting down.

Dont think that you would have a problem here in Texas but I know how goofy Calif. legislature shit is.

Ha. From what I understand for the gun part, if I have a license for it, then I can attach it to the vehicle (must have an orange nozzle cover-thingy).

And I think for the age part, it's either 16 or 18, or there must be an adult (18) accompanying the child or juvenile. But I know the fuzz will call me out on both.

Oh, the pics... I have a few.
