i hate birth control period...
I was on Tricyclen 28 for like 4 or 5 years, and after I stopped taking it, I had a horrible horrible time.. weird but horrible pains, period pains to the point I couldnt even get out of bed, etc.
My doctor even thought that i had something wrong because of all my symptoms...

seriously, it's like you don't fool mother nature, and we've all been fooling her for a long time.

time for the good ol boys to jack up their reproductive systems for a while.

I have never met anyone who has experienced any of the serious side effects of the pill; i.e., blood clots, etc. Just the usual bloating, painful periods, etc etc etc.

Then enter ME who after an MRI for pain found I have a 4 x 5 inch tumor in my liver. And my doctor said its probably from being on the pill for longer than 10 years.

He told me that most women don't even know this is a typical side effect of birth control pills, and is mostly missed unless the tumor gets big enough to cause pain and therefore detected by an MRI, CT Scan, whatever.

I'm all about men trying birth control; I just don't know if I trust them enough to take it as directed.

I wonder if this is related to why I don't get PMS, anymore? I used to get it HORRIBLY, but birth control fixed it, and then when I stopped using BC (except for like 3 months in the middle) in April (I think) of 07, I never really got PMS, again. Still needed significant amounts of chocolate, but no bitchiness.

...I thought I had PMS a couple of weeks ago but it turns out that I was just really, super fucking annoyed with my date (my GOD he is fucking annoying). He kept poking me ("bonking" oh my god I hate that word) and I'm really not a fan of abrupt, annoying, unpleasant, unsolicited, and unneccessary touch.


Also, what is it with UE girls and nasty birth control side effects? I've never seen such a high concentration of lady problems!

I thought about slipping him some adderall, but then just gave up and moved on to a less annoying, slightly more attractive guy. It worked out well.

One girl I work with got 2 blod clots as a result of birth control... pretty serious stuff...
