I dropped out of high school.(Didn't have enough credits to graduate)
So now I'm getting my G.E.D, but I called the testing center a while back and said the next test was in February.
I called them again to make sure it was still in February, it's now in March, WTF!

Edited to meet Mandias standards.

You need to work on spelling, grammar, punctuation, and capitalization.

I do not know much about this topic, but can't you go to a different state to take it earlier? Or is there a private option? (Such as the GRE where you can take it when/wherever you want to.) This site seems to give them more frequently:

Edit: I can haz grammar.

WHAT?! This stupid booklet about the GRE that I have says that I'm fucked as far as a testing location goes, they're going to rape me and take everything I own to pay for the tests/test scores, and that it is only offered once a month.

What do you mean by this take it when/wherever you want crap? Or are you using those words and that slash loosely?

Sorry, I probably forgot my <sarcasm> tags.

On something of a tangent, could someone please illuminate me as to what G.E.D.s and G.R.E.s are?

NB: Good for you, Caligula, sorting out your high school stuff.

When I took the general GRE I just called the testing site and set up an appointment for the general test like a week later. I think it was with ETS, but it may have been Kaplan. Because it was computer based it was just a matter of sitting down alone. Did you try to schedule for the subject test or general? The subject is only offered once in a while and I had to schedule that way in advance.

The GRE is the graduate record exam, like the SAT for grad school. The GED is the General Equivalency Diploma, a substitute for a hs diploma.

So, entry into postgraduate study isn't simply based on your undergraduate performance?

Fuck no its not...The GRE is like the SAT on steroids without a calculator. My sister is a genius and it took her 2 tries to get a decent enough grade to get into med school. And the score she had was so low it was amazing she got in.

It took recommendations, super high grades and a lot of recommendation letters to get her into medical school.

Yeah, when I applied to grad school (long ago) it took 3 letters of recommendation, transcripts, GRE scores and a professional track record of research to get in.
