Beautifully shot, It is a Ukrainian silent film about the communist revolution, based around the events of a workers revolt in a weapons factory in Kiev. A very interesting film for me, because it shows the relation between WWI and the Communist Revolution. People were suffering from the war, and thusly they revolted against the Czar. But what it shows me is that when you try and solve a problem with violence, it ends up backfiring. In the case of the Soviets, they over threw one ruler, just to put someone worse in to power.
