Tomorrow 6pm Eastern Time.
Polapremium.com will open.

At least 8 NEW films will be available.

The demand and sales of these new films will determine whether Polaroid Films will continue to be made.

Buy. Tell people about it.

haha.

yeah, you can get fuji100C45
http://www.adorama...0instant&item_no=6

They have B&W too, but not sure if they're available in the U.S. yet.

The fuji packfilms are nice.

Their Instax films are nice.
The cameras suck asshole though.
And do not compare at all to Polaroid.

Yeah, polaroid's demise is one of the reasons I stopped thinking about switching to 4x5. What'd you end up buying?

I'm still trying out a few systems. Not sure if I want the portability of a field, or the flexibility of a view.

I've seen people lug around view cameras at locations before and it doesn't look like it would be much fun at all.

Unless you have 5k+ to spend, then you might want to consider one of these: http://www.badgerg...oduct_detail&p=120

It's portable (enough) and the movements are probably adequate for what you need. Based on the research I was doing at the time, it seemed like the best entry-level option as far as field cameras go.

I was thinking the same thing re: field camera.

I was also looking at used Toyo Field 45CF because of the strength/weight ($600US). I'm a bit concerned about using wood, as I can be a bit hard on gear.

I've lugged a field camera (Toyo 45A) around a number of places and it's not that bad. People are just whiners.

Thanks, I thought those type 100 films were new. I wish they would just make proper type 100 colour films instead of dicking around with shit like that.

Just got me a 10 box of 125i twin packs really cheap.

Yes, the down fall of Polaroid is horrible. I use 669 film. I have some stored in my fridge. I really wish they still made this film. Its so sad. Supposedly someone bought one plant and intends to make the film, but I think that my be the impossible project. That they are not making my film.
