Now that we have our own family, we're doing things OUR way this year. Our parent's had their chance to spend Christmas however the fuck they wanted to, well now it's OUR turn.

no man, my mom is cool about shit. like, if we can't/don't want to show up to something, she's like whatever. husband's mom - not so much.

but, this is the same woman who held a grudge against us for not letting her hold our daughter when she was born because she was critically ill - what a saint!

you know what is my chief complaint against my parent's? that they don't know how to use the computer/phone/technology and ask one of us. it all results in a fight because i'm "going too fast"
