A coworker pointed this out to me, said it may be abandoned. Anyone know what it is?

That's the semi-abandoned, semi-used Peter's Cartridge Company.

More photos here: http://www.mcflash...sCartridgeCompany/

The place was once a munitions factory, today part of the property now has a small, modern office building built onto it. A lot of the areas are able to be rented for storage, while some parts are unused and technically abandoned. There used to be an artist who had a studio in there, but the last time I talked to him I believe he relocated. Unless you like dogs, I'd advise not going inside, however the view from the neighboring bike path provides for some awesome photograph opportunities.

Ah, OK. I familiar with the cartridge factory, just wasn't 100% sure where it was.

I have photos as well, from this past summer when I got in. It's a really awesome place. Semi-abandoned. Half is used as a storage facility. So it's kind of dangerous in that aspect.

Here's the depressing part. I only uploaded the pics to my ex's computer and we are no longer together. So I am SOL on the Peters photos. Guess I gotta go back, which is totally fine by me

Let me know if any of you are interested in joining me.

It will be sometime within the next few weeks. I'm dying to get there again.

Two scaries:
Like I said in previous post- Half of the building that is only connected by a catwalk is still heavily in use as a storage facility. The day I went was a Sunday and there were people in an out of there while we were there. Not to mention people using the bike trail directly next door. So being quiet is a big must. (Not that you guys are idiots and didn't know that, I just wanted to reiterate that fact). Sooo...I'd like to go on a weekday when it's less crowded in the area.

Also....the room we entered had police tape up and unidentifiable bones.

Woohoo!

For anyone who comes across this, I believe this has since been demolished.

EDIT: I think I was wrong, they may have been modifying the property when I saw machines there.

Are we living a life that is safe from harm? Of course not, we never are. But that's not the right question. The question is, are we living a life that is worth the harm?

Have you seen it in person ? I poked around on google and found no articles or news stories about it being demolished.

Last summer I was going on a long bike ride and we drove by there and I thought there was stuff to tear it down. I'll do a bit of research to see if I'm crazy.
