Posted by bandi Heh... that's pretty funny. Although I like rabbits, I've had a few, and they've all been shit. My worst was an '82 Diesel 4 door... the inner fender was rotted out of it and all the road spray would go straight into the back of the fuse panel. Because of the wonders of wiring corrosion, my hi-beams would only work if my wipers were on, my blower only worked if the dome light was on... it was a total clusterfuck. I also had a Fiat X1/9 Bertone... it was cool, if you didn't have to go anywhere. As for the Yugo... is it bad that I want one?

my mothers' ex-boyfriend circa 1996 had a field of Yugos.
he had two he drove, one he drove out on the ice and 7 for parts since they weren't manufactured anymore. When the Yugo was introduced, Carriage Traders in Whitehall NY had the 'exclusive' franchise (like it was a
good thing to be selling these things.
My experiences with driving a Yugo were positive, believe it or not... the thing drove like a car that was the product of a gokart and phone booth mating. It had a cool little simplistic gage cluster and could be thrown around like an ATV! On the hills, as long as you kept the engine wound out, it would climb ok, but it was no Mustang GT.
