If anyone uses Kijiji on here... have you actually had any luck with it? I've tried selling some vehicles, and after you sort through the emails asking if you'll take $45 for a $1200 car, one person out of the 300 that contacted you actually comes to look at the car.

Then, I found a rust free Beetle body with lots of spare parts about 3 hrs from my place. Sweet deal, I thought. So I drove out there with my truck and trailer, and the fucking thing was ready to break in half it was so rotted out, and the guy couldn't find any of the spare parts. ARGH.

I sold my Ford Mustang on there, took awhile but a girl came by and bought it. I've found things aren't what they say they are though too.

i've had good luck on kijiji as well, but there's also a lot of scams going on with cars on there there so I wonder if people are shying away

I bought my van off of it.
Sadly, I am now parting ways with it

How is that coming along? My '68 Bug I've been doing is like 40% finished... pan is redone, left heater channel is in, rear quarters are in... still haven't mated the body back onto the floorpan though. I'm not coming out ahead financially on this one... but it's gonna be a NICE bug...

It's going pretty slow actually. I got the floor pans, but have yet to cut the old ones out. My new motorcycle took up all of my time this summer unfortunately. Well, between that, and house projects...

Fortunately I'm not in much of a hurry.
