Darken the brightness and contrast just a slight, and it should be fine.

Usually, if you shoot in black & white, the camera does a pretty good job at finding the right mix of contrast and "color" in the subject. Only when you convert from color to B&W, then does it become a bit tricky to adjust.

See my pics on Flickr (or my avatars) for an idea of what I do (and most were shot in B&W).

Good job otherwise.

Overall very nice.

I agree with railguy about more darkness/contrast.

I guess the only other thing I can mention is *maybe* rule of 1/3's so that maybe the 1/3's are: Sky, windshield/hood, and grill. Though it may not be possible depending on what you're trying to do with that shot.
