never heard of it.
the conversion is done easy enough.
Monte Carlos (RWD) came with manual transmission, fab a crossmember and a driveshaft, instant manual SS.

A lot of people do that swap now, I think they use F-body parts but I'm not certain.

IIRC, in addition to some of the first gen Monte Carlos (70-71?) for a couple years in the late 70s they offered a 3-speed and a 4-speed in the Montes then dropped the option for manual shift...then in the 80s at some point you could get a MC SS in Mexico with a 4-speed stick that also had a Pontiac interior for some reason
