Title is self-explanatory, but with movies instead of that horrendously long music thread.

For me, I've currently got the original Saw on in the background.

Well, not at this exact instant, but I am working my way through the entire Planet of the Apes canon with my kids.

I've actually never seen a Planet of the Apes film. Does that make me a bad person?

Dear god. You have no idea.

Heston had said that he wouldn't do a 2nd one. They begged him, and he finally said that he would agree to do the first five minutes.

They worked on a script and then asked him if he would do a couple of minutes at the beginning, and then a couple at the end.

He agreed, on the condition that they definitively kill his character at the end of the movie.

So, not only do they kill the main character, but they blow up the entire fucking planet, and the beautiful things is, THERE ARE THREE MORE MOVIES AFTER THAT.

Then, in the end of the next one, they kill essentially ALL of the main characters, and THERE ARE STILL TWO MORE MOVIES.

It's like the finest movie making EVAR.

Yeah, I saw the third one I think...at least part of it, where they explain how apes became smart and more than just servants.

I've always liked Bruce Campbell, but that movie gave me a bit more respect for him, I think.

Anyway, gonna get good and drunk to watch these old westerns.
