I'm sure everyone here has read the Zombie Survival Guide or World War Z, but are there any other books out there? So far I've read both the guide, WWZ, Plague of the Dead, and Day By Day Armageddon.

Day by Day Armageddon is basically a diary of a man who faces the invasion on his own. It shows his initial reaction, how he survives, and the people he interacts with. I thought it was great and can't wait for the sequel.

I'm not done with Plague of the Dead yet, but so far it's awesome. The story links both the "rage virus" with the slow "dead" zombies in a creative way.

Anything else out there you guys like?

There's a thread on The Walking Dead on this very board.

I just started Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. It's awesome. I recommend it.

Cell by Stephen King. Not a straight-up zombie book once you read it start to finish, but the beginning of this book is truely epic. Highly recommend it (though the ending is kind of predictable).

Necrothread alert!

I'd read Monster Island and Monster Nation, and took each with a grain of salt. They were entertaining enough, I suppose.

*Here contain some spoilers*

Today, I found Monster Planet at the used book store and picked it up. I'm, like, fifty pages in and I've given up. I actually declared "THIS IS BULLSHIT!" and hurled the book across my porch. My suspension of disbelief does not cover humans and zombies interacting, nor does it cover zombies learning to talk. Never mind the psychic zombie bull that I managed to ignore in the first two books.
