If by "this place" you mean toronto, I believe you have perfectly diagnosed your condition.

Toronto stinks for meeting people, everyone keeps to theirselves on subways and such. And most of the chicks are all stuck up. Blah, might as well get a hooker or three.

However, local intelligence suggests Guelph is good for meeting chicks...

i agree... some of the snobbiest meanest ppl are generally found in TO and in YorkU(it doesnt apply to ue movement=). I travelled in summer to a bunch of cities (like halifax, st john, PEI) and found females to be much nicer (like they should be!!)
Even in montreal when i ran outta cash in a strip bar, the lap dance girl wasnt mean to me. she just let me go without callin security and stuff. i still owe her cash=)

Did these females, as you call them, also bake you pies and darn your socks during your travels, as they should have?

Maybe you like girls in other places more because you are there with the shiny biased perspective of a tourist? When my friends came back from NYC they kept saying how guys in Toronto were such pigs comparatively, and then proceeded to tell me their stories of guys they met, that were exactly the same as the ones they say about guys they meet here. In NYC I found everyone to be super nice and friendly, but that's because I don't go around Toronto lost and asking strangers for directions. I think it comes down to perspective, and you boys have a negative one.
