	Primarily because A) I was bored, B ) I had an almost-full can of Cherry Red spray paint lying around, C) I love rat rods, and D) The paint on my 4Runner was pretty crappy anyway so I couldn't really ruin anything, I decided to give it some sweet rat-rod inspired scallops. They're not perfect, but I have maybe $15 invested in them, so I'm pretty pleased. Plus they add a hell of a lot of character. [last edit 4/1/2009 8:33 PM by CDSbigsby - edited 1 times]

	its well done but i wouldnt qualify this as rat rod

	Oh I know. The only thing I mean by connecting it to the phrase 'rat rod' is the scallop-y design and black/white/red color scheme.

	its not rat rod influenced, its more late 80's sedan deville on bags and 20's paint stripes styling

	I think it's cool...I also think with a little work you could get the paint on the truck shining pretty decently, a little wetsanding and polishing goes a long way
