Really though, lately I've been shooting strictly film. The last time I pulled out my digital was at Taunton the other week, and I am not posting any of my shots from there since I've been going so often... Over the past three months I have shot over 20 rolls of 35mm and MF from a bunch of new and old abandonments and rooftops, but I have no scanner. I'm hoping to get a Nikon 9000, so I'll have new material soon.

hahah, sorry! haha. i havent been exploring much the past month or so. trying to save money/wear and tear on my car. so ive been catching up on darkroom work instead on weekends, which i basically never post, bc i never scan my 35mm black and white stuff. i just never like the way it comes out digitally. and ive had a lot of "family" bullshit on weekends lately too. im going exploring this weekend though so i should have photos soon lol

actually i tried to go somewhere this past weekend and was bricked and cemented out, to my surprise. which i am currently trying to think of a way around.

i basically have only been going on this site for the past month or so to message nan. the photos on here have been horrendous lately. sorry if that makes me sound elitist. but all the best photographers have just disappeared like caligula said. most stuff on this site has been absolute shit lately, its at the point where i hardly even check new posts.

Oh well. There used to be a time where people could just post pictures from their adventures without fear of being flamed by someone who says their stuff sucks because something's off by .25 degrees. I know it can be trying to have to look at threads with photos from people who aren't as concerned about the creative side of photography, but it's exactly that sort of "horrendous" stuff that this site was founded on. I'd say the creative to non-creative photography ratio was probably 3:1. No one had a problem with that either until people (mostly) in the northeast decided it had to be done a certain way before something was to be considered worth looking at.

Besides, with a few exceptions, the better stuff has always been found elsewhere.
