As a compliment to the name that car threads I propose a thread of stupid car wrecks. I want to see pictures of accidents that could only have been caused by someone who wades in the shallow end of the gene pool. I also want to see pictures of REALLY expensive cars all smashed and broken.

Sure it Does!

One of these sold for 28.5 Million dollars back in 2008.

Making this the most expensive auto crash of all time.

Or how about this one? one was sold in 2008 for 10 Mil.

Nope, Ferrari 250 GTO

The other one is Sand, it was left in storage near the beach during a hurricane, and was thrown to the beach

These are not kit cars, notice there are more behind the fence. This was a car hauler full of vintage Porsche's that got hit by a train.

For that money you could build like 100 better, faster cars part by part.

Apparently there is already a whole website devoted to this

Must've been that 22 year old jerk with his 2 inch dick and all the girls swooning around him that caused that crash right? *smirk*

I was listening to a radio show the other morning and someone on it had a caller, it's not a local show, it's syndicated from somewhere in California. Well...this woman was sleeping with her boss and he finally let her drive his Ferrari, no idea what kind it was, apparently she didn't know either. She called the radio station and was talking on her cellphone at the time about driving this car and then proceeded to total it by smashing into a light pole. She walked away from the accident. Her only comment was the gas was too close to the brake.

The station followed the story and found out that the boss was married and reported she stole the car...so now she's in deeper shit than just totalling the car while on a cellphone. Half a million dollar car in the toilet.

Talk about a dumb accident.

My friends dad parked is C63 amg in downtown MTL, an Acura TL behind him and his wifes Jetta infront. Long story short and old shitty GM (gm fail again) truck comes blasting along and the brakes give out, he smashes into the TL, ramming it into the rear of the AMG, and pushing the AMG so hard into the jetta that the back of the jetta lifted up onto the hood of the AMG. Needless to say my buddies dad wasnt too pleased.

Are you SURE those aren't replicas? It has 4 bolt wheels... ie: Post '67 VW Chassis. Porsche 356 would have a really large 5 bolt pattern the same as pre '68 Beetles.

All I knew about the photo of the Porshes was that it was a hauler full of vintage Porches. My knowledge of those cars is limited so you would know better then me.

Did replicas get made out of steel also?

I'm pretty sure there was a guy in california doing that for a while... cuz yeah, the bolt pattern is definitely incorrect.
