Urbex related modifications to vehicles

Just curious (since we ARE on an urbex site...), has anyone modified anything on their vehicle for urban exploration purposes?

I used to drive an '87 Corolla... beige, 4 door. Super low key, and it'd almost go anywhere. I had a pair of small driving lights mounted under the front bumper on their own circuit, as well as a switch to interrupt my brake light circuit, for being all sneaky and stuff.

I had a '90 Cherokee 4x4 I was going to make into the ultimate urbex vehicle (including the "Urban" portion of a Chev Suburban badge and also the badge from a Ford Explorer...) but I gave up on it, just too rotted out.

Yes get it. I've been thinking maybe next year I will trade in my Honda Passport for a 9C1 Imapala but I would have to go up to Washington State to get one as no agency around here has them.

Vickies suck.
one of the troopers out of Lewis (Exit 32) had a Charger on loan from the Troop headquarters in Ray Brook... he insists it's faster than a Vickie. I laughed and told him to meet me on the bridge road later that night.

I didn't really have to do anything special, my 4Runner is pretty suited for exploration as it is. Rural, anyway. Came with off-road lights on the front, I just had to wire 'em up, and I've got 31"s on it now which make it able to go even more places easier.

Though upcoming modifications may or may not include pipe bumpers with a stinger and winch on the front and a safari rack up top.

edit: Bad thing though, if it's 'urban', it doesn't exactly blend in. Easily memorable vanity plates don't help that.
