anyone have any success with them? i just got some burned copies from a friend - but the quality sucks. but the baby seems to really like them.

anyone else's baby/toddlers into them? so far so good. she can say "k" and knows the letters "a" and "s" and we've only watched once a day for two days.

I heard that the pirated copies actually plant a subliminal message to kill parents.

on another note, she seems to like them a lot. i want to shoot myself in the head, but the 50% reduction in screaming is a plus.

i dont know the brand. but she's 20 months and knows the whole alphabet, can identify most letters, knows all the primary colors and 1-10. next is "Meet The Sight Words"

Seriously, it works. BUT, I sit there with her and say the letters/numbers/colors with her, then we do flash cards that I bought. It's not THAT easy, but it helps

Yeah, I'd be more inclined to think it's you sitting with her and showing an interest that does the job, rather than the DVD

She'll be 2 in feb and can say the entire alphabet, numbers - knows all her colors, shapes and sight words. i think the DVD's rule personally. she probably watches one of the 6 dvd's maybe once a week. i don't think that's excessive at all. and it's not like i let her sit there in front of the tv all day - she maybe watches an hour a day. i also did these dvd's and flash cards with her from a very young age. she's smart damnit.
