I really am not into driving, I bike pretty much everywhere, no matter what the weather. This has led me to take my ride to reach many an urban exploration. I usually end up bringing it with me. Here are a few pics, do you guys do the same?

I've traveled to plenty of locations by bike, though I've never taken it with me since often it's not practical.

I've found biking great for scouting drain entry points, but I generally drive when I'm actually going in somewhere.

I dunno man, biking IN drains is the serious rush for me. Great for long, boring RCP especially.

My hardest bike entry ever. Over a barbed wire fence onto a massive steep slide.

Fucking sweet.
I really need to pick up a mountain bike for riding this winter. The road bikes aren't gonna cut it.

I know this drain! I have pics somewhere. Is it easy to get into? (besides the climb..)

Biking up that slope must have been a real effort..

You guys must get soaked in all that water with the splashing

No lol, Theres no way one could bike up that slope.
we jumped the fence right at the top and climbed down onto the outfall grate and lowered the bikes with rope. It was bolted....

You'd be surprised how easy it is to convert a road bike into a winter bike!
A straight handlebar, a single speed setup and a pair of cross tires is about all it took me to do it. Good fun!

I'm really starting to get into UE biking - I don't know what changed, but I quite look forward to packing minimal gear and heading off on two wheels.

A bike is crucial for me. I find it much easier than using a car, so long as it's within 4 or 5 miles. And biking in drains is the shit.

Oh yes. The only drawback is, it's kinda hard to get them over fences.

My new ride on the "wrong" side of the fence on the under-reconstruction Margaret Bridge, with security guards about 50-60 meters away in both directions.

...and inside a collapsing abandoned building. This was a few days after I got the bike, and I had nothing to lock it up with, so it came in with me

I consider most of my bicycling to BE urban exploration, at least in the broadest sense of the term. I like to go places I haven't been before, to take back roads and alleys and to see places from a vantage point which isn't the commonly seen public face.
I'm also building a bike specifically to get into tighter spots. Started with a dumpster found BMX bike, added a long seatpost and comfy saddle. need to gear it much lower and ride it in the drains.
