To start with, they're way too huge. Turn on bicubic resampling and reduce their size. I usually go no more than 900 pixels wide.

I am scanning at the moment so I can't get into photoshop, so I will get to the rest of my stuff later, but I will say the size issue depends on what the pictures are for. If you are solely going to be posting the pictures on the internet, then sure smaller is fine, but otherwise this size is good for those who are looking for details.

Whoops. I forgot to comment. I am scanning again so I can't take too much at this time to comment, but here is what I have to say about one of the photos

the original

2 secs of the spot healing brush on the right hand side removed three large, distracting spots. Which can be seen in the original. There is also massive artifacts on the left, which I have marked. They are also around the stem, leaves, etc.

As can be attested to in my other critiques, the thing that really drives me crazy is spots. They are easily removable and so distracting. When I see a picture with them they are all I see.

As a personal preference I have no interest in concert photos, so I won't comment on those. I would say your strongest photo is the one of the horn player, but it is noisy and there is artifacting. I wonder if you could possibly give some details of how you are shooting these and what you are shooting them with.

The artifacts were from photo bucket. I resized and uploaded this one:

The noise if from the camera. Sony A100 shot through a Tamron 55-200 4-5.6 at ISO 800. I took the photo from the sidelines at a football game during half time.
I took these yesterday:

better, worse?

The quality is much, much better.

The only issue is that you made the horn guy picture pink.
