To provide some contrast between the article and me just to show how awesome I am. Coincidentally I am currently at work in the middle of developing a database to track rabies vaccinations so we can better offer free rabies clinics to all animals in the area.

Instead of beating them with sticks, we poke them with needles.

I have a craving for Chinese food now.

They sadly did the exact same thing with cats during the Olympics, while trying to clean up their image. They convinced people to hand over their pets, spurred by erroneous scares that they cats would "infect children" and such. Got so bad there were cases of daycare workers beating cats and kittens to death with sticks in front of the children, no less, if they roamed onto school grounds.

Every time I read about China and whatever new, pandemic abuse is occurring with various animals, I just get amazingly depressed.

Now I could be wrong but the the people in China are supposed to be so far advanced in area of education. I keep hearing that the kids are so much more educated than our's in the US. I am sorry but I would rather have my daughter be mesmerized and lost when it comes to physics than to have her desensitized when it comes to beating an animal to death. She can always get an answer to any question she has when it comes to something she is not versed in. To take the easy way out and make anything suffer human or not is fucked up.

I know that I might get blasted for being too emotional when it comes to the life of an animal. People will say that the US takes too much to heart and would be better off if we just let the little shit go. Maybe they are right but.....I sleep better at night knowing that I did not beat the crap out of a healthy animal because it is for the greater good. I have 3 cats and a dog. I would be better off money wise if I did not have them. I have spent soooo much on them but when the day is over I know they will meet me at the door and ask nothing in return but a pat on the head. How many humans would be so grateful and so unconditional? What more could you ask for for such a small price.

I remember watching this heart wrenching show about how China raises big dogs for food products. The ones I saw in their "food pantry" were St. Bernards and German Shepards. They were all chained in disgusting kennels and have no human interaction except when they are brought food and water once a day.

They showed one of the fucktards who works at this kennel, walking over to a German Shepard with a huge stick. The dog was actually glad to see him and was wagging his tail. Next thing you know he got bashed in the head and was on the ground.

Watching that dog wagging his tail, and me knowing what was coming, made me sick. Still does when I think of it.

This has to be one of the most vile things I have ever seen. As Shellyl said, we are accused of being too emotional and that we should let the "little things" go. I say bullshit. This is not a "little thing". This is barbaric. For whatever reason, there are large numbers of people (in every country) whose mindset is still in the medieval age. Uneducated, ignorant and impulsive.

Personally, I would like to see people like this beaten with sticks and stones. I guess that makes me medieval as well.

Yeah sorry... it's not. If it was a one-off thing, I'd agree humor is a good way to at least cheer knowing it had been resolved but this is a problem that doesn't ever really end over there.

Glad I am not the only one who thinks that. I met a guy from China who told me about his family. Appears that he has a brother and had a little sister. Brother is still around and Mom and Dad killed the little sister. Lucky for him since he was boy #2 he is still here to tell the tale.

I have a friend who is Chinese, she hates the country with a passion. She has to go visit family there every once in a while, and she says its one of the most miserable, disgusting, and smelly places on earth. And to put that in perspective: she lives with a smelly chicken that shits everywhere.

Thats how much China sucks.
