| | | Now that Travis Pastrana, and Ken Block are playing, maybe rally america will get more exposure. But WRC is about the locations for me, I love seeing all the different countries offerings up to the rally Gods, I do notice that spectators are stupid no matter what country they are from!! I think Finland, and Sweden are my favorite WRC locations.

| | | Posted by big dave ...loves NASCAR at Infineon and Watkins Glen? I would become a huge fan of NASCAR if they ran at least 10 road courses a year, or had a whole separate road racing program with the same drivers that race on the oval tracks. I guess i don't really hate NASCAR, i just hate the poor choices of "tracks" in the program. Here's to hoping...

| | | Posted by Samurai NASCAR is not as equal as they would like people to believe.
| I only have one experience under my belt, and based on what I saw, it's pretty equal. All of the engine blocks have to be the same, i think he told me from one of 3 manufacturers. The shape and size of the body of the car is measured with these giant skeleton looking units that lay on the car and must touch in "X" number of spots to ensure uniformity, the tires and rims are all identical and are actually race prepared in a separate garage by NASCAR officials, not the teams. On a couple of occasions as i was playing around in the team garages, pits and trailers, NASCAR officials were floating about measuring shit, and I got to see them pull apart a blown motor.... all under the watchful of of... you guessed it... officials, who were checking that it was in fact broken before they could put another one on the track.
