I put new clutches in my friends isuzu with the 4l30e and now when i drive it it wont take off in 1st gear, i have to rev the engine up to like 4 grand and then it takes off really slowly, once i get going it shifts fine through all the gears and cruises good at 60, reverse works perfect too. the issue only seems to be with first gear, this is the first time ive worked on an isuzu and i dont know what to do. i'm thinking i need to adjust the servo or its something with the over run clutch? anybody know whats wrong?

are you missing a clutch, or have one too many in it?

Tell Randall that his clutch needs a new car.

Did you double check to see that the disc is in the right way and not bassackwards? Or maybe it got bent a little bit?
