WTF is it with people throwing their Tim Hortons coffee cups out their car windows? I asked some dude at the gas statin who I saw do it and he said "they're biodegradable". I wanted to kick him in the spleen.

Because people are a-holes. Tim Hortons cups aren't even recyclable, something about the light wax that lines the cups.

They have bins now in all of the Tim Horton's around here to put your coffee cups in to be recycled. Unless that is just a front...hmm....

But yeah...I was driving the other day, and the car in front of me chucked out a bag of Mcdonald's garbage. People really are assholes.

Sorry about that. I hope I didn't hit your car.

I've done a little research into this.

They are coated with a plastic. There are a few places that do recycle or compost them, such as yarmouth compostes them, sudbury recycles them, it's up the local waste facilities.

The liner will be left after composting then they can recycle that.

There were two vehicles together, both with Pennsylvania license plates, driving down the highway in front of me in Ontario. One of the drivers opened her window, and tossed out all the garbage from a fast food place. I followed the vehicles to the gas station, asked the woman why she littered... and she said "I didn't litter, a road crew will come along and pick it all up"

Now, if you live in Ontario you know how rare it is to see a road crew picking up trash. My question to Pennsylvania residents... Is it okay to dump your trash on the roads of Pennsylvania? Will someone clean-up after me?

I told the woman that we have no one to clean up our highways from litterbugs, and she told me that all of us Canadians are very backwards, that someone should clean up the roads, maybe prisioners (I agree with that part anyway)

I truly believe that I met a very stupid American, not a typical person, just a stupid moron. She makes the rest of you Yankees look bad LOL. I told her she could get a fine for littering and she made a joke about it only costing her pennnies on the exchange, cheaper then wasting fuel to pull into a rest stop to dump her garbage. By that time I was seriously angered, she was sitting at a gas station only 5 minutes after littering, stupid lady!!!

Typical bitch all right. Too bad you didn't have some garbage to throw into her car. And then when she starts bitching, tell her "That's okay. You can clean it up."

No. You should've punched her family in the face and slashed her tires.

Umm...whatever happened to just keeping it in your car and throwing it out when you eventually get where you're going?

What happened is the same mentality that makes smokers throw their cig butts out the window - heaven forbid that they mess up the interior of their vehicle, even temporarily.
