the car is a Ford Festiva. On the front, someone thought a Combat front clip for a Mustang would make a fine addition to the car. On the hood, AVS fake hoodscoops give it that musclecar character while out back, someone grafted on the rear clip from a mid 90's Ford Mustang... all the car is lacking are a set of enormous wheels and maybe some side skirts to fill in the blanks between combat kit and mustang ass.
personally, who am i to say this car is a nightmare on wheels? It took balls, imagination and some monumentally poor taste to build this car. What I want to know is this: Was the car built as a joke, or as a 'serious' build?

I think there's something wrong there. I can't quite figure it out.....

Oh, I know, wow.

What about the back wheels? how the, what the, I, uhh. Yeah.

...what the ford ranger could have been!

That festiva could have been the Return of the Ranchero?

Look at this VW pickup, I hope they let some of the auto design firms in Los Angeles have a go at it before they let this turd drop.

front and cab = pretty cool, but the bed needs some fine tuning.

That's a VW?

These were the images I saw of their concept truck:

It's called the Amarok, which means "Wolf" in Inuit. Powered by a series of common rail turbo diesel engines.

(And the rear bumper is from a '91-'95 Caravan I think)

The VW truck you posted looks much more refined than the one I posted, maybe mine was more test mule? I just wish they would stay with the older retro style, I would buy one of those.

Here is an oh God WTF, this is said to be VW powered, I kinda like it.

I love those old streamliner locomotives!

That truck also makes me think of the GM futureliner.

I have always had a boner for old C.O.E. Trucks, There was one abandoned in the '70's near my house while I was growing up, just an old flat bed, broken windows, flat tires, rusty. Mother Fucker We were TRUCKERS in that old piece of crap. I sure miss those days, but they're great memories, I wouldn't change a thing, I got kids, and grand kids to go play in abandonments with now!!!

I also wish the motorama could be reproduced, of 12 trucks, I think four are still running around, not all are original however, one is a motorhome / party limo. A few have been wrecked, a few sit in private junk yards. All of these are the 2nd generation Futurliner, I don't think there are any 1st generation liners in existance any longer? Sad.............

After putting the photo through some special software, I was able to determine what the 'truck' was thinking.
