changed out both the drivers' side front wheel bearing and ball joint on my 99 Monte Carlo yesterday. Ever look at the front substructure of one of these cars? I pity the fool that I collide head on with. That car is one solid motherfucker up front... the strut assembly looks like it was taken out of the same vintage Camaro. The downside? I had to remove the strut/knuckle assembly from the car and then get the bearing out. Lucky for me that I changed the bearing yesterday because as we were removing it from the strut assembly, it fell apart.

anyways, i still have to change the passenger side balljoint and the driver's side tie rod end... then the fucker will be tip-top from a suspension standpoint.
