We sure did,to a town with about 950 people or so. Night and day change from Hamilton,no one locks their doors here and the cop shop is only open once a week.

I admit I still miss Hamilton at times though,and all the super awesome friends and family I have there.

Met at a convention. Started out just friends, he was in a relationship, albeit a rather rocky one. By the end of the convention, his now-ex had cheated on him pretty much in front of him (long story, open relationship fail) and I happened to stumble upon him crying while I drunk and comforted him.

Billy and I chatted online through a PA chatroom for over a year. I really didn't want anything more than a friendship since he had kids. For some reason or another I had a change of plans on New year's Eve. He asked me out to dinner and I accepted. He drove 1.5 hr to my apartment. We met in person and I have been with him ever since. We'll be together for 9 years on NYE and engaged 8 years on Oct. 30th.

My Mom passed away two weeks after we got engaged. I had a horrible time dealing with her loss up until last year. I had a really hard time trying to plan a wedding because she was a florist and owned her own business. I couldn't get over the thought of someone else doing my floral arrangements and all that without her. So, We decided to do the Vegas wedding thing and get married by Elvis. I recently started a new job so I have to wait until I get vacation time. .

High School, I dated his best friend. One year after the douch and I broke up, we got together. It's been 10 years!

I was in an American chatroom (#machall, of the comic) and I was having a gala that night, where I already had two dates. So she (living 200km away) asked if she could come along, and I said no, I already have 2 dates.

In the meantime, I was chatting to a friend of mine, who lived near her, and said "are you coming to the gala" and he said: "no, don't have a date and I don't want to travel all that way and back alone". So I said to them both "I know someone".

So they were a gala couple, and after the gala, me, two lady friends of mine and them two went to my place to drink and chat some, then at a certain moment I was tired and shoved them all out.

However, we stayed in touch over the internet, and 2 weeks later that friend of mine had invited us both for dinner, and there we hooked up. Been together for 5.5 years, but split up for half a year now.
