05'Started out being shy and shelled up, not wanting a serious relationship with anyone.
05-09 Fell in love, lived with her for four years. Trouble on and off, but she was the best part of my life; considered uber-long-term taboo commitment
09 Breakup and now she's off with someone else, and (IMHO) he's a rich dick...who is 5'6" and 280lbs. We still talk, and are on 'friend' terms.

Looking at facts and logistic, she really isn't the one for me. Not in the 'I could do better' manner, but rather personality/stress level/long term goals were wayyy different.

Either way, I every time I think of him even touching her I want to go fetch my pliers and blow torch.....

Just wanted to share with some strangers. No, alcoholism isn't a possible solution I work 10 hours days with a 3hour+ commute.

PS-Due to a fucked up financial situation, I'm living with her parents(She's moved out).

Pretty near impossible to move on if you're still living with her parents,no?

No wonder you're still messed up about it,I couldn't even look at my ex's family for two years afterwards!

best thing to do is to find a way to move out of there and start over again. There are better ships sailing around on the ocean of love.

I used to give my second girlfriend massages using Bath & Body Works body cream, or whatever it was called. Just imagine how I felt, thinking about him rubbing that stuff all over her, if he even knew how to give a decent massage, that is...

Ummm...ouch on the living w/her parents thing. You need to get out asap and try to move on. Never easy but it is an opportunity to do something new. "Changeportunity" the patron saint of UE called it, enjoy it!

Hey - your just going through what everybody else goes through after a break up. But I believe living with her parents is just going to keep things "alive" as far as your emotions go. I know its easy to say "get out of there", but you should really try to make that happen.

And don't torture yourself with thoughts of him touching her. Believe it or not, in time it will all just be a memory for you and you will have moved on.

Besides for showing up at work, finding a new place is my #1 priority. It's just been a bitch to find a place that isn't $800/month for just a room

My rent is $465 per month for a decent two bedroom apartment and some storage space in the basement, plus one half of the garage, in a decent area of the Falls. Perhaps you're living in too high rent an area of Rochester?

Nah, I'm temporarily down in the rich land of Baltimore. Everyone thinks their spare 8x10 is made of gold. There are cheap apartments, but my car would probably be gone in the morning if I lived there(No joke)

The funny thing is, that since my breakup, I have spent two full days with my ex's family (sans ex) - once to go paragliding, once for a BBQ. Which is always kind of weird, but whatever.

In fact, my ex (who I'm still on speaking terms with, even though she had a new bf 2 weeks after I had a 5.5 year relationship with her) hinted at me that her sister had a crush on me. I had quite a crush on the sister too, but didn't think it was wisely to get anything with her.
