For the past few months I have been nothing but a mess. I have been stressed out 24/7 because it is one thing after the other.

Right before I left for California back in June, My car started making some strange as fuck noises. No idea what it was, Thought it was the tie rod, Nope. Thought it was something else. Nope. This went on for weeks, Until recently when I got it fixed. $175 for new bearings for the tire, Rotated tires and an Alignment. I think thats decent priced, Except I am broke as a joke. So I now owe my dad $175.

Verizon just loves me. Everytime I pay them, I owe them MORE money the week after. I am always a month or two behind on my bill because I have a shit job. I just paid them $73.00 last week because they shut me off and I need my phone. I still owe them $64.00. Until two weeks when another $72.00 gets added to that.

I am shocked as hell I my license isnt suspended. I now have 8 points on my license.
I was trying to get to work one day when I was stuck behind a car, Who was stuck behind a cop doing ALOT less then the speed limit. I was gunna be late for work so I called. The car infront of me turns off and now I am behind the cop. She slows down and I got real close, I guess I didnt back off soon enough. She pulls over to the side to let me pass, I do. She flips her lights on. Bitch gave me a tailgating ticket(4 points)I read the ticket, I come to the conclusion that it's $90. WONDERFUL. I go to pay it last night, Turns out the damn ticket is $130..

Two nights ago I'm driving down Rt. 107 in Nassau County when I pull up to a stop light. I look in my mirror and see a ford, Looks like a cop. I look at the roof. I see lights "I'm gunna get pulled over, I know it" Before the light was even green(Inbetween red and green) The cop flips her lights on and pulls me over. I was doing 58MPH in a 40MPH. $200 ticket. So I now owe NYS $330. My paycheck has never even hit $300.

And why is that all female cops have something to fucking prove? They are all such bitches. I was nice, Respectful, Aplogized... Nothing. Treated like shit. Every guy cop that has pulled me over was atleast respectful back.

Damn that sucks man. Ya gotta watch out for the damn po-po.

Get yourself on a cheaper phone plan. If you can't pay it, you don't need it. And a phone sure isn't worth ruining your credit over and sinking in interest-based debt for.

See, for me, it's the opposite. Almost every guy cop I've gotten has been a royal ass, whereas the chick ones I get are usually okay. With the exception of state troopers. State troopers, I've come to realize, are generally pretty okay.

...I get pulled over a LOT. I drive a bright yellow beetle, and get pulled over for EVERYTHING. I got pulled over three times in one weekend for the same damn broken headlight. Then, a week later, the OTHER one broke. I got pulled over twice...by two state toopers...a mile apart. FML

But yeah, kill em all. Then you don't have to worry about paying any damn tickets.

I wish my financial problems were that small (not trying to make yours seem less valid). Before the MAMU II trip I had my car worked on to make sure everything was running alright and get some minor maintenance done. $900 later I have to have to beg my mum pay for it all (fuck if I can drop that much at once) and pay her back in installments of $100 per week. Also sucks because I absolutely loath having to borrow money for anything. My paychecks are barely over $400. $250 of that goes to car insurance, $30 goes to my phone bill (employee discount with our company), and the rest goes toward food, gas, and rent. On top of that I havent been able to pay off my credit card in time so I'm in another $500 worth of debt. So the grand total is $1250 that I owe (I managed to give my mum $150).

But wait, there's more! I now have our company's shitty health insurance that adds another $50 to my bills. My medication isn't covered so add another $80 every month. Every time I visit a doctor or get a procedure done, I have to pay a copayment of $30 (for the visit) then for whatever test the do or med they prescribe me. So if I get sick, I'm fucked. I'll be able to find out what's wrong with me, but I chances are I won't be able to do anything about it. I wouldn't be able to take off work either. I can't afford it.

So let's see: $30 + $50 + $80 + $250 = $410 and my paychecks are about $420. That leaves me with $10 to cover food and gas for 2 weeks. AWESOME! I can't go back to living with my mother either. First, I'd probably end up in the hospital again, but also because my boyfriend would end up having to move back in with his parents in Florida. So that would kinda suck.

I'm waiting on a new job, but it's taking forever. I'm losing hope for it because last time I got a new job, immediately after the interviews they decided to eliminate the position because of the fucking economy. So 4 months and 3 interviews for nothing. I'm sorta at the new job now, but I'm just covering shifts from people who don't show up. Also, since it's contractor work (camera crew) we can go up to 3 months without pay.

So yeah. I guess you could say this past year has been a cheery little wake up call to the fucking fantastic life of your typical American citizen. Don't even get me started on college. That's a clusterfuck I'll save for another day's rant. So everybody shake your fists with anger and say it with me, "Fuck my life!"

I hope your car isn't registered in your name or won't be until those points are gone. From what I hear every year when you go to register your car in NY they charge for each and every point you have.

A always figure I do 10 over the limit. Anything more and your going to get pulled over more, and usually on the NYS highways they will let you slide with 10mph over.At least in lower NY, not sure about up by you Samurai.

depends on the time of the month... i've gone by troopers on the northway going 75-80mph in a line of cars and they haven't said anything. The troopers here are just as big douchebags as the ones downstate.
what i love is the fact that not only do you have to pay the ridiculous fine, but they tack on 'surcharges' that INFLATE a ticket like 150% over what it should be.

in New York, you fight a ticket tooth and nail if you have to. You never roll over.

Ive gotten over 20 count em, 20 tickets in the past 5 years here, and NO points on my license. Cost ? Maybe $800...

But, Ill fight the city of las vegas forever. DOOSHBAGS !
