I don't have first-hand experience with older Nikons, but that's a good deal you got! Which lenses are you getting?

An FM2 may be worth getting fixed. What does it do/not do when you try to take a picture? What lenses did you get?

50/1.2 lenses would most likely be worth repairing. 50/2 lenses which would have a thing reading 1:2 on the lens, however, would probably not.

Heck, I'd probably give you $60 for two 50/1.2 lenses alone as long as the brokenness didn't involve cracked/scratched/fungused/whatever glass.

True dat. Nikon glass is good quality, and holds it's value since it works on new bodies just as well as old ones.

The 50 1.2 lenses are definitely worth hanging on to, in fact I know some people looking for one.

I have an FM, they're nice little cameras. Fun to use, sorry to hear your FM2 is busted. Without knowing how it's broken it's hard to say what the repair would cost, sometimes it's something rather simple.
