Someone put that show on while I was on acid and it freaked me out

Not a movie, but still awesome to watch: The Future is Wild. It's an old series about evolution of things on earth in the future. It's really fascinating.

I know these aren't movies, but I'm a huge fan of Family Guy and South Park while stoned. I guess each respective franchise has their movie, but I haven't seen them while stoned.

Actually the Star Wars Family Guy spoofs would probably be pretty epic while high. I should dig out those DVDs and get a'rockin.

"THE LAST UNICORN" that movie is really really good. its not just for kids. so much social commentary, about killing our own spirits.. like neverending story kind of. and of course, of course.... "PINK FLOYD: THE WALL"

My friend roped me in to going with him to one of those time share schemes for "free" plane tickets. NO OBLIGATIONS! So, after we told them we were broke and not interested in the 90 minute presentation, they had us watch The Last Unicorn. (We had to stay on site for 90 minutes to get our FREE TICKETS!) After about 5 minutes we begged for the presentation. Oh, and we got our free plane tickets, which were free, but only if you booked a stay at one of their resorts. That friend isn't a friend of mine anymore.

dont blame the last unicorn for that shitty encounter! i mean, sure, its a FAIRY TALE, and typically there are things that go into that.. such as, bright colors, rhyming, and well, singing. if you dont like that enough then you might bail and miss all the sweet shit that also occurs in the movie.
i sure hope that this experience was not what ended your friendship, surely there was more to it than that.

Well I mean, we were at the beach on a beautiful mid-July day in Maine, and we were stuck indoors watching The Last Unicorn. Like I said, we only saw the first five minutes, so maybe I'll give it another shot if the atmosphere is right. As far as that old friend goes, definitely more than a funny story about a time share opportunity was to blame for the demise of our friendship.
