I like the CGI stingers. The high velocity is nice for accuracy at distance. I also like reminingtons subsonic. The lack of supersonic speed makes more accurate at close range, so I am told, and seem to notice.

what are your guys fav 22lr loads and why?

I'm mostly shooting out some weird take down French rifle "gevarms" for 22lr stuff. what do you guys use as your main 22?

When my Grandfather died, I inherited about 15,000 rounds of Federal .22 Long. OLD shit, but it fires perfectly. I generally shoot it through my single shot Remington 22 that was my dad's boyhood gun. So worn on the surface I can't even make out the model number.

sentimental guns....mine is a spanish hand made double barrel side by side 20ga shotgun, my grandfather left it to me. But it needs some repairs, and I usually well up with tears trying to do them, cause I miss him.

I like CCI, but i havent shot anything else so i cant compare. They work fine for me.

CCI is the best IMO you got good choice in ammo. nothing I've shot compares, but I wanted to see if anyone knew of something even better.

that depends on what the goal of shooting is?

if its pest control, some hv stuff is the best way to go (but for me no stingers). general plinking? cheap bulk ammo- any style. if its for groups than its target sub sonic for me. wolf match extra or remmy subs.
