The Pickups are actually the Toyota HiLux with 37" tires and obviously a different bumper and add-on armor. A similar setup is found with some of the Israeli Army if I remember right.

The APCs that entire squads go into are the MRAP (Mine Resistant Ambush Protected) vehicles which in District 9 look like International Truck made them.

Ah, thanks for the trivia. Every vehicle in that movie was just awesome.

And Trains, the XA, XB, and XD are all terrible.
