I can't stand people who can't be upfront with you and can't come up with any believable lies. I find it insulting.

I mean seriously, if you're not in the mood to talk, say so. Be direct.

On a couple of occasions I sent texts asking if they wanted to talk after work and got no reply. I was told my texts weren't received. Though as soon as I have something cynical to say, they suddenly are receiving them and respond immediatly. (this was to someone I was interested in btw)

I know on my part I was being sensitive and should have taken the hint, but what bothers me are the excuses and lack of honesty. I've never heard of texts not being received before, has anyone else? I'd rather someone be upfront with me.

Then the other excuse I was regularly given was, "I'm busy, and I have to spend time with my roommates."

Which I see as saying, "You're not worth the 30 minutes of my time I'll be taking from them, who I see for several hours a day." I guess a couple calls a week was too much.

I know it was their way of saying "I don't want to talk to you". I just hate the round about way. I prefer things direct and clear.

Indeed I have. I was worried having only one nut would make me half a man but my doctor said even with one nut I could populate a small village rather adequately. Most women don't care about the number of balls a guy has unless he's got, like, six or something. When a curious girl does notice the one-nuttedness, she is determined to see how much jam I can spread on her toast. Inevitably, it's blah, blah, rest of the story, etc, etc...
