I'm in the basement of our library and the parade of recruits passes through daily with some pretty scantily clad young women in it. Good Lord if I was one of their parents!

You betcha

I serve as a blank screen on which people of vastly different political stripes project their views.

By my estimation, if it's coming down to a "NO YOU'RE NOT WEARING THAT!" fight - you have already lost.

If the slutty clothes are already in the wardrobe, it's a rocky ride until she is out of the house and out of your hair. These issues have to be addressed early on. Many parents seem to miss this. Change is incremental

Absentee dads who are too busy to interact with their daughters suddenly flip out when they find Janey's thongs in the wash or notice a bellybutton ring. Too late moron.

I always figured if I had a daughter, she could dress however she wanted. If I preferred A, and she decided to go out in B so be it.

BUT

When I come to pick her up a school, visit college etc, I am going to wear the male version of B. Tight white tank top, Richard Simmons striped shorts, tube socks, and open-toed sandals. "Yoo-hoo, Toodles! It's daddy!"

I love the way you think.

A mirage is not an optical illusion. It is a real phenomenon, and one can take photographs of it. The interpretation of the image, however, is up to the fantasy of the human mind.
