In the burning off fat thread, having a nice breakfast was mentioned. However, with me, I can't have dairy products in the morning (I have a digestive problem that only limits it to the morning, rest of the day I can eat dairy just fine). I'm just wondering what diary free alternatives are out there that I get for a nice big breakfast in the morning

- whole grain porridges are really filling and give you energy for the day...some good ones to try include oats, quinoa, and millet...a little bland by themselves, but if you season them with a bit of cinnamon and/or vanilla they have more flavour
- eggs are another good thing to eat in the morning, because of thier high levels of protein
- raw fruit is supposed to be really good to eat first thing in the morning too, since they are better eaten/digested on an empty stomach...if you're gonna eat something else for breakfast too, eat the fruit first and wait approximately a half hour after having your fruit before eating anything else to avoid indigestion/gas
