I'd personally describe them as refined versions of Fenixes. The best thing about them, though, is that when people start asking for things like warm tint versions, they'll get a show of hands, put up pre-orders, and make it happen - gotta love that.

Noticed recently that the tailcap button on my Quark Tactical is super flaky. Hadn't tested it extensively before so for all I know it's been like this the whole time. I've only taken it on one outing, during which I had trouble with the light, but at the time I thought it was due to battery failure. Now that I examine the light more closely, I'm sure the problem is the tailcap button. Anyone experience similar trouble? Very unhappy about this. I'm extremely busy at the moment, but when I get time in a couple weeks I'll bug 4sevens about my warranty.

My quarks have been fine, but I've had switches die in plenty of other lights. Those guys have a good reputation for warranty, though.

Use two long pokey things and tighten the ring with two holes in it. That should do ya.

When my HP20 broke and I sent it back to 4Sevens for repair, they had it for almost 3 months before I called and said I either want a refund, or a new light, or the repaired light, asap. That I paid for it in the first place, and I don't expect to just be out of both my money and my light while its under warranty, for 3 months.

It took several calls to convince them of my line of thinking. They finally just sent me a new light.


I don't order from 4sevens anymore, their repair policy is shit.

Dammit! You can always just use a different email address or use the CPF8 code. Or, better yet, see if DADS2011 still applies for 15%!
