Yeah that was a damn fine effort by the Habs last night. Kinda sucks Halak lost the shutout mid 3rd period, but hey it's the W that matters. Now they need to win that 4th game at home and take it back to Philly tied up 2-2.

Montreal is done....i'm thinking maybe they were just gassed from the previous 2 rounds having them both go to 7 games and then to face a big team like Philly was just too much for them. What were your thoughts on the last game and the series in general?

i hope that Chicago smashes the fuck out of Philly.

First two rounds were indescribable.. they proved a lot of people wrong by beating Washington and Pittsburgh. Philly was a bigger team, but I still think they (Montreal) could have tried more than they did. I think being down 3-1 and being tired, Montreal gave up in the 5th game. I'm still a bit upset ( I would have loved to see them make it to the last round in their 100th year) but I guess there's always next season?

As for Chicago vs. Philly, I hope Chicago beats the shit out of them (not only because I am mad at Philly, but also because Chicago is a better team).
The only thing good about Philly (gasp!) is that they have one hell of a sexy beast goalie (Leighton).
