Posted by big dave Companies rise and fall. Its just like when i do jobs at the races. One year all the pros will be shooting with Canon, then Nikon will come out with something to rival Canon's top equipment, and all the pros will be shooting Nikon the next year. I predict GM will bounce back and possibly be the #1 seller in the US in the next 5-10 years, but all the other companies will make a comeback sooner or later. PS, make sure you shift into N when your floormat gets stuck, apply brake, pull over and turn off the car.

i will give you that.
it's a retarded recall.
it's as i said in another thread, when you're the big kid on the block, everyone is coming for you. I have been seeing chinks in Toyota's armor for a couple of years now and to be honest, these cars are not what they used to be. Also, their market is changing as well... i don't think that they are 100% equipped to deal with it.
I'm actually suprised that you said that GM would bounce back, Dave. As a GM-phile, I still see these as the last days of the creaking colossus. It's good to see optimism from other camps.
I especially liked the part of the article that stated that GM, Ford and Chrysler have caught up with Toyota in their manufacturing process' and the fact that the UAW has agreed to make concessions to get everyone back on track.
