That is: how late into the fall/winter season do you continue to skate? For me I usually go until it snows.
How about you?

well, this is only my first year skating, and i don't skate everyday or anything, but i've been on my board a couple times in the past few days when it's been really cold...and i loved it. it was much nicer than in the summer when it's ridiculously hot outside. i think i'm probably gonna keep riding until there's snow, or a major frost, at the very least.

I was out yesterday just as the sun was going down, and it went from pretty nice to fuckin COLDD real quick. Assuming the wind stays down, Im usually good to keep riding until the snow as well

I go pretty late into the year as well, as long as there's a dry/snow free patch in the middle of the road, I'm good.

I HATE getting the bearings and wheels all gritty.

me too, but I find they eventually work themselves loose. I recently upgraded to a pair of 75mm retro big-zig wheels, but am sticking with my 6yr old bearings. Theyve been through mud, sand, water, snow, slush, but for some reason are like the most amazing bearings Ive ever seen. they spin forever! I've gone through 2 rear king pins, a pair of wheels & trucks, but those bearings just refuse to die.

I stick to indoor parks in the winter although it is fun to bust out an old board and shred an outdoor park in 6 inches of powder.

I have the joy of living in California and only being able not to skate when it rains.

I live in the PNW so once October rolls around the pavement is usually full of pine needles and water.
