I decided to go to Paneras for lunch today. It was right around noon, so naturally it was very busy. I got my food, and then had a nearly impossible time finding a place to sit.

Now I realize this is the busiest time of the day, but what pisses me off is all of the people sitting there who weren't eating. People who were done eating, or even people who had no empty tray in front of them at all, just sitting there reading a book or the paper, or dicking around on their laptop.

So if you go to Paneras, or really any place for lunch, if your not eating and theres like ten people milling around the place who've just bought lunch and are looking for a place to sit down and eat, get the fuck up and do your shit someplace else!

But it's so cool and trendy to sit around in a coffee shop or cafe on your laptop. What are people to do?

(I'm with ya, that sucks. Read an article last week about how restaurant owners are killing their wifi or making people leave after they're done eating just because it's preventing them serving more customers because it's so busy there.)

Ahhhh these are the people who ritually visit Starbucks in the wee morning, Panera Bread for lunch, and TGIFriday's for dinner.

Atlanta Bread Company is much better anyway.

I went to Panera's once. Ordered a chai. It tasted worse than Starbucks coffee. Like burnt ass in a cup. Never went back.

I read the title of this thread as "People in Pajamas". I think that would make a pretty good "pissed off" thread... cause I really hate that.

They serve Chai? Hardly anyone serves chai. Well, halfway decent chai.

It's too bad I don't live in Atlanta.

I never go to Panera's, anyway. Something always pisses me off when I go (as clearly indicated by this thread).

The chais at Barnes and Noble aren't bad. I guess it's technically from Starbucks though.

Yeah, I was never a fan of Starbuck's. The best I've found is Dunkin. I'll have to try B&N though. I bet that's technically a Steamer, though, which I don't care for.
