so my gunsafe has a few in it. 3 ruger 10/22- 1 bone stock 1976, 1 "worker" and 1 "ulti". 2 shotguns- winny 1200, and a mossberg 500. a mini 14 ranch in stainless, and my newest- springfield 1911 a2 gold cup. . i had an old ruger 22 pistol that was "rusted shut" but it was fucked so i sold it.

10-22 is my favorite rifle of all time.
I still have the one I was given for my 10th birthday.

yes the 10/22 is like the chevy 350 of .22lr rifles. it runs ok out of the box and is so/so as far out as 50 yards "m.o. pie plate" but... the endless list of upgrades and after market parts on the market is unreal. the only "stock" part on my ulti is the receiver. 1/4 groups @25 yards, 1/2 @ 50 yards with wolf. 3/8 to 1/2 @ 50 with bulk ammo. countless tree rats, crows, rats and many other critters/pests have been taken with the "worker"-same internals as the ulti, but much less flashy .
