Anyone hear their new single yet? Of course it's not much of a surprise that these guys know how to put together a great rock song.

'feels' like Led Zeppelin, but with some funk rubbed on it.

Well Dave Grohl had already worked with Josh Homme for some Queens of the Stoneage recordings so we know those two were quite the duo, but adding a world class bassist like John Paul Jones just makes it that much better.

I'm really digging their sound and if they come to town i just might have to grab tickets.

Josh Homme's definitely one of the coolest guitarists out there right now. Despite being somewhat strange the Desert Sessions are certainly worth a listen.

I heard the single on the radio last night and thought it sounded like a 3-minute car crash.

The singles alright, but of course there are much better songs on the album.

I'm hoping the album has some better songs on it, beacuse the 2 singles I've heard are very disappointing.

For some reason, I keep comparing this mentally to The Dead Weather, and it doesn't really have that same sense of being new and interesting.

My friend showed me TCV a few weeks ago, and... meh.
I love me some Grohl, but he just isn't what he used to be. He just went kind of posery after a few Foo Fighters albums. He'll never match The Colour and the Shape. His new(er) acoustic stuff is good, but he should stop putting out crap like this.

Okay, I like this a little bit more now than I did before, but I still don't think it's all that special.

I dunno why, but i'm starting not to like their sound anymore. I find myself turning the songs off or changing the radio station everytime i hear a TCV track.
