Tell ya who catches off guard. Them damned diesel freaks. Be a 7500# dually pull up next to ya and fucking light turns green all you see is smoke. And not from the tires. Lol bastards figured something out.

Yeah, lotsa potential with diesel stuff.

I have a friend with a New Beetle TDI pushing 350 horsepower and 560 ft lbs of torque... it's a sooty terror.

Unfortunately it looks like he covered it in glue and rolled it in eBay's accessory section though.

Saw a white 61 Buick Special with a large small block in it. I can only imagine what it was like when you stomped on the gas.

Very cool... but if I was going to that much trouble to do the swap, it'd be a Cummins 5.9 diesel. That thing must be SCARY to drive on stock wheels and tires.

the vinyl on the windshield is tackier than my beloved headlight covers.
I don't car if it's got a warp drive bolted to it somewhere, that vinyl makes mme want to chuckle.

a while ago i was watching motorweek when they were coming out with the cadillac sixteen, they needed to do a long term evaluation of the engine but couldn't subject the actual concept car to thousands of miles on the street, so they put the engine in a tahoe. cant seem to find a picture of it though

did you ever see the proving mules for the Prowler? they had a Wrangler body grafted on to the nose of it... it was pretty funky looking.

The vinyl is bad, and the "Evo look" body kit is nothing short of offensive.

I found this on the local Craigslist. Not sure what to say except yikes!


And yes that is a late 1990s Chevy Caviler with a small block stuffed into it.

All that work and they make it an auto with a shift kit. What a bunch of assholes.

A shift kit is a collection of parts that go inside a transmission to make it shift better. Are you calling the automatic shifter a shift kit? What do you want the dude to do, shift with his teeth? Just clearing that up, because the improper use of automotive lingo realllllly irritates me.

Damned rednecks sticking a dirty chrome engine with a carb into a modern car is also something that irritates me.

Uh huh. I had a very solid little Rx-7 that someone shoehorned a 327 into. Grrrreasy.

Those drag racing style shifters you mean? Im a big fan of making things look stock on the inside if an automatic is being used. Dont you agree those shifters look silly though? Hehe.
