Since we are on the subject of Berettas...A Beretta was going to be my first car. My dad and I drove to a dealer in LA and drove one, but the steering wheel only turned once to the right, and 3 times to the left. This was before i knew much about cars, so i was upset that my dad wouldnt let me get it. The 1990 Hyundai Sonata V6 i ended up getting was a much better car than the Beretta, LOL.

oh but of course... yep sure it was.

a little update on this car... the guy i traded with still drives the car, STILL hasn't repaired the head gasket and has already wrecked it. He pulled out in front of another car and biffed the drivers' side quarter panel and door. 181,000 miles and still running... with a blown headgasket.
one. tough. engine.

the same guy that has my Monte Carlo had an old Aspen... Slant 6 in it. Anyways, anyone who has ever had one of those cars knows that you can change the oil on it without jacking the front end up, or driving on ramps. So Wayne drains the oil of out it and puts the new filter on. The phone rings so he he goes into the garage to answer it while his brother comes out of the house, jumps in the car and heads down the mountain.
He got about 4 miles before the engine siezed... they towed the car home, threw 5 quarts of oil and a new filter into it, broke the engine free with a breaker bar... it started right up and Wayne drove the car for another couple of years before it was too rotted to drive anymore. it ended it's life at the demolition derby with the throttle pegged to the floor.

tough engine.

I sold my slant 6 powered '86 Dodge Ram in 2002 with 620,000 km on the clock. It's still being driven today.

It was a former Canadian Tire courier truck.
