Well my fiance wanted a Camaro so we got one. 3.4 auto. Base as you can get. No power anything. So being is a good running vehicle I must start screwin with it. So should I try and make it a corner burner? See what kinda straight line numbers I can squeeze from it? We wanted. 5 speed car but since america is still afraid of 3 pedals this is it. I do like that there is no T tops and since the windows arnt power they still work. Thoughts? Other than burn it or sell it. She has fallen in love with this car.

People will clown on you if you race a 6 cylinder Camaro.

Sigh she loves this body style (and I know what a bitch they are to work on) and I'm leanin towards suspension and brakes. Doesn't have to be high horsepower to be fun. Its her car anyway (honestly I could buy a Z28 for about the same money here but she is 10 years my junior and her insurance can't handle it). So I would like to keep it stock, maybe do a rear disk swap (cheap and easy). Maybe find a wrecked Z and pull the springs and sways. Some sticky tires. I dunno. Yeah its not gonna out corner a Miata or tear up a Caravan in the 1/4 but just make it a lil more fun to play with in the mountains during my home time. Don't have to be the ultimate anything. Just a lil better than it is.

fun, cheap stuff... i've seen this formula already here.

K&N or AEM CAI.
Borla makes an exhaust for it
if it's Automatic, RK Sport used to sell a shift kit for it
big $$$ toy... centrifugal supercharger

Well it has a K&N filter (not cai) in it. Some homemade makemeloudfornoreason exhaust. Feels strong for what it is. I think it has a 4L60e trans. So kinda like Sams wish list but less specific, anyone got any goodies for one of these? Lookin at free to cheap. Extra crap from a old project. That kinda stuff. I do need some interior items. And it has those salad shooter Z28 wheels on it. Not real fond of those. Just wonderin folks. Tryin to make it nice for her really. I'm more the offroad sort ;)
